Cover Reveal: Nothing But Friends

It’s finally time.

You’ve seen the title, you’ve seen a tiny peek of the cover for “Nothing But Friends.”

Now it’s time for the official cover and blurb:

My best friend Holly wants my baby.
Not a relationship, not romance.
Just a baby.

Apparently, that’s a perfectly reasonable thing to ask your best friend.
And if I say no?
She’ll find someone else.
We’ve been best friends since we were kids.
We’ve never even kissed.
Never cuddled. Hardly even hugged.
Now we’re trying to make a baby.
We do and say things we never would have under normal circumstances.
She insists this changes nothing.
For me, it changes everything.
I was supposed to give her a baby, not fall hopelessly in love with her.
And now I’m staring at two pink lines…
and realize I’ve made a terrible mistake.
Somewhere along the way,
I gave her my heart.
The one thing she never asked for.

I truly can’t wait to get this story into your hands. “Nothing But Friends” comes out in May 2026, and you can grab it now at the preorder price.

Freezing fingers, snowmen, and audiobook news

Quick check-in from my very cold corner of the world.

How are you surviving winter so far?

It’s been full-on winter here. Cold air, frozen fingers, a runny nose, and lots of bundling up. I took a couple of snowy photos I really love, right before my fingers completely froze.

If you’ve built a snowman (or seen a good one lately) please send me a photo. I love looking at them and they make winter much more fun.

I’m especially weak for anything even remotely Olaf-like.

Poor guy. Poor guy. Lost his nose 🥕

On the book front, I have good news: Next week, I can finally start prepping “Nothing But Friends” for the audiobook studio.

And I’m ridiculously excited about this part: it’s going to be a multi-cast audiobook. I’ll be announcing the narrators soon. One is a longtime favorite of mine, and the other three are voices I’m working with for the first time. I can’t wait to share more once it’s official.

Before I let you go, one quick thing:

The CEO Enemy” is part of a Kindle Deal, starting today. (US & Canada only. Sorry to my UK readers!) If you’re not familiar with Kindle Deals, it just means Amazon features the ebook for a limited time at a lower cost than usual, so it’s a nice chance to grab it if it’s been sitting on your TBR.

That’s all from me for now. Stay warm, keep your fingers thawed, and don’t forget to send me your snowman pics.

Love,

Jolie

What a year, here’s a little love

Baked a brick. Wrote a baby pact.

Hi reader,
Just popping in before the year wraps up. I have a few fun things to share, and one question at the end that I’d love your thoughts on.

First off: Check out my first try at baking oat bread! It’s made with oats, seeds, a bit of salt, and baking powder. I think I added enough baking powder? It looks like a brick but tastes pretty good (and keeps my stomach happy. Histamine flares and gluten intolerance, anyone?).

Look how it turned out. The darker half has poppy seeds.

And once I started spending more time in my kitchen, it spiraled. Suddenly I was sanding down my table, re-oiling the knife block, and even a bathroom container for towels. It was messy and exhausting, but so worth it. There’s something about restoring things that makes you feel strangely better.

And somehow, doing all that shaped the way Holly’s character grew on the page. You might remember her from earlier updates. Holly is the 37-year-old heroine of my upcoming book “Nothing But Friends” (out May 2026). She’s stopped believing in love, but wants a baby, and ends up making a baby pact with her childhood best friend. Dexter.

She’s an interior designer, so don’t be surprised when you catch her reaching for wood oil, or Dexter describing the very specific smell it leaves behind when the furniture dries.

Segue? Yeah? No? I tried.

I’ve been working on the book for a long time (dad time took over this year), but it’s such a joy. I received the manuscript back from my editor, and now I have a few edges to smooth out. There’s always a bit of sanding left before the final shine.

Now, before I forget. I’d love to know something.

Most romance books focus on heroines in their early 20s. But writing a 37-year-old woman who knows what she wants (and doesn’t), who’s been through things, and who still wants more? I’d really love to keep writing heroines in their 30s, but I want to hear from you:

What age range do you enjoy most in romance heroines? Click and let me know.

Now for a little gift to wrap up the year.

Title reveal

Hi reader,

First things first, title reveal time.
Thank you so much for all the guesses you sent in. You came up with some good ones! Some made me smile, some made me melt, and some were just plain funny.

Here are your guesses:

Forever Baby Now

Naughty Best Friends (love this one)

Nurturing Between Friends

Nothing Between Friends

Now Begins Forever (beautiful ❤️)

New Best Friend

Not Best Friends

No Better Feeling

Night brings Baby (funny! 😂🍼)

The real title is:

Four of you guessed it right.

“Nothing But Friends” is up for preorder. (paid link)

The full cover reveal is coming next, and there’s some audiobook news I’ve been dying to tell you.

Since Halloween is around the corner, I also wanted to pass along a little treat from my friend Jenny Foster. You can download her steamy romance “Asher’s Brith: Grim” for free for a few days. Definitely check your triggers, but if you’re in the mood for something different, this one will hook you. Think dark and sexy, but with comedy to keep it light.
Oh, it’s on audio too. DUET narration with Angelina Rocca, Gregory Salinas, and Oscar Reyes in a breathtaking cameo. The book is Whispersync. That means once you grab the ebook, you can usually add the audio at a crazy low price.

Happy Halloween,

Jolie Day

New Release: Holly and Dexter

Holly and Dexter’s story is just about finished.

I’ll be sending the manuscript to my editor soon, which gives us plenty of time to get everything ready for a release in May 2026.

This one has my whole heart: childhood best friends, a baby pact, and a protective alpha who falls hard. The two main characters have lived in my head and heart for so long that makes it hard to let them go. I’ve smiled with them, ached with them, and I loved every second of writing their story.

Some of the fun bits (just a peek):

I already have the photo for the ebook from the photographer, and I teamed up with one of my favorite cover design firms. The very first draft came in and I knew instantly: this is it. I’ve never loved a cover this much.

We’re creating versions for both the ebook and a paperback, and we’re down to the last details now. I can’t wait to show you.

In the meantime, here’s a taste for now.

Can you guess the title?

Any ideas what it might be?

Covers, snippets, everything else will follow.

And good news for everyone who’s been waiting: “Blind Date with the Billionaire Doc” is now live on Audible (paid link). And yes, it’s narrated in DUET. It’ll be available on all major retailers worldwide within the next few days.

The wait is over. 🎧

“Quit Me If You Can” made it to Audible.

I said it would take a few days. Maybe 14. At most 45.
It’s been 95.

I almost lost hope it would ever go live on Audible, but now?

It’s official. “Quit Me If You Can” is live on all major audiobook retailers, including Audible.

Go get it in your ears.

Narrated in duet by the wildly talented Teddy Hamilton and the incredible CJ Bloom, and they nailed it.
He’s the perfect cocky lawyer.
She’s the perfect sassy paralegal.
Every swoon, every look, every bit of tension, trust me, you’ll feel it all. They brought humor. They brought yearning, and they brought it hard. And Oh-M-G, the heat? Off. The. Charts.

I couldn’t have asked for a better pair to bring these characters to life.

I’m so excited for you to hear this one. Truly. It’s everything I hoped it would be and more.

Thank you, as always, for reading, listening, and holding on through the wait.

Jolie,
probably the most relieved she’s ever been

The Lawyer is here.

The last time I saw Cade Gladwell I expected an engagement ring.
Instead, I got dumped.
No reason.
No explanation.
Just a big fat broken heart.
I never saw him again…until today.
Now, he’s my new boss.

Not just any boss.
The most ruthless attorney in New York.
And of course, he’s 6’3 and unfairly handsome—
sharp suit, sharper jawline, and a voice that could melt common sense.

He doesn’t even acknowledge me.
Like I’m some forgotten memory.

But trust me, I haven’t forgotten him.
And this time?
I’m not about to fall into his trap.

I’ll smile. I’ll play it cool. I’ll behave strictly professional.
But the moment the lines get blurred,
and his lips touch mine,
I realize I’m in trouble.

Because this time, it’s not just my heart on the line.

Quit Me If You Can” is a complete standalone. No cliffhanger. Jolie Day is team HEA. Definitely for adult readers only.

Quit Me If You Can: One Week To Go

Dear reader,

We’re almost there.

In just one week, “Quit Me If You Can” will be in your hands.

Kennedy just lost a bet to her roommate.

Now, he has to sneak into her new boss’s office (the same insufferable jerk who dumped her back in college) and leave a cheeky, anonymous note on his desk.

Marked with lipstick. And… her panties.

Backing out? Not an option.

So, one late night, she slips into Cade’s office to make the drop.

Guess who walks in just as she’s finishing the job?

The man himself.

Cade Gladwell. Her boss.

The most ruthless, feared, and sharpest lawyer in New York. The same infuriating, heartbreak-inducing, too-damn-handsome-for-his-own-good jerk who left her ten years ago without so much as a backward glance.

And now, here he stands, in the doorway, taking in the sight of his desk: a note, smeared with lipstick, and the lace panties she’s definitely not wearing anymore.

Wondering where this goes? Let’s just say, it’s far from over.

Get ready for Cade and Kennedy’s smoking hot second chance romance. And if you’re anything like me, you’ll be counting down the days.

Quit Me If You Can” releases on Feb 25th.

Narrator Reveal: “Quit Me If You Can” Audiobook Coming Soon

Who’s bringing “Quit Me if you Can” to life?

Two incredible voices.

Let’s meet them:

Teddy Hamilton steps into the role of Cade “Lawzilla” Gladwell, New York’s sharpest and most feared lawyer, a man who has it all: power, control, and the world at his feet. Until Kennedy walks through his office door to interview for a paralegal position at his law firm.

CJ Bloom brings Kennedy to life, the woman he dumped in college.

She’s not here to relive the past. She’s here to make Cade face what he thought he could forget.

Two powerhouse narrators. One smoking hot second chance romance.

Get ready to hear it all unfold.

Is the audiobook duet? Yes!
